“ Probably my favorite so far in the collection, Pisces. First off, it smells. Amazing. I know I said this about Libra, but that is a far cry from how good this smells. It’s all lovely, bright citrus that gets my mouth watering. I actually had people walk into the break room while brewing it because it smelled so good and they wanted to know what I was doing. Unsurprisingly, with the amount of chamomile in the tea, and the main base being rooibos, it’s a very calm flavor. I actually don’t taste much of the black tea in it - its main addition to the tea seems to be to the color, darkening the rooibos. The bright citrus of the orange and grapefruit are there in the scent and the aftertaste, especially, though the first flavor that comes out does tend to be the chamomile. The aftertaste is nice and juicy, mostly grapefruit. All in all, it’s a great tea, and a great blend of relaxing and perking. It’s the kind of easy awakeness that I tend to associate with citrus flavors, rather than the shaking awakeness that tends to follow black teas for me. I keep using bright, but it really is a good word to describe the feeling of this tea. It’s light, and leaves a nice, easy feeling.

If you do go with this tea, I highly recommend stirring it - the rooibos sifts towards the bottom naturally, due to its shape and the shape of the other ingredients. You may also want to pick some of the chamomile flowers out, depending on your preferences. There are a lot. ”

“ Pisces blend is lovely. Like its sign of two fish swimming in opposite directions, this tea is at once perky and bright and also very relaxing with soothing chamomile. Chamomile’s earthy flavor pairs well with a bright citrus mix of orange, lemongrass and grapefruit. The other tea bases can be detected as the tea cools. The flavor of woody rooibos comes forward more with cooling but is much tempered by a pleasant tannic taste from the black tea. The white tea with it’s delicate nature is harder to notice. All flavors seem well balanced to make this an easy sipping blend that’s very tasty with an earthy and pleasant citrus flavor.

My CT packet had 4 g/4 tsp of all ingredients with a juicy grapefruit aroma. Brewed 16 oz.(1 tsp/ 4 oz of water) at 212*F for 5 min. The liquor was a caramel color with more of an earthy scent of chamomile instead of the brisk citrusy aroma of the dry tea. A sweetener add of honey brought out the fruity flavors well and elevated the taste to delicious. The 6 oz resteep was enjoyable too. I chilled a mini cup and found the cold tea had more of a blended fruit and woody rooibos taste. I liked this blend better hot. It makes a great evening sip when you want something calming with a wonderful fruity aroma and taste.

“ All ingredients were present in my communiTEA packet. Grapefruit, lemongrass and chamomile aromas were noted.

I had 4.04 grams of ingredients, enough for a medium strength steep. I steeped at 200°F for four minutes.

When hot, grapefruit and orange flavors were moderate. Chamomile and lemongrass flavors were mild. I added ½ teaspoon of sugar.

When warm, all flavors moderated, with citrus flavors leading the way. All three teas combined nicely, providing a light tasting base for all flavors to work from.

This was an excellent example of a crisp tasting citrus flavored sip indeed. (4 mins @ 200ºF, ½ tsp sugar) ”
